Friday, May 2nd, 2008Well he’s here! Baby S was welcomed to the world on Anzac Day Eve *welcome to the world!!*
Mum did an amazing job in her 33 hour labour (you can read snippets of it on this article about long labours on her midwife’s blog), and I’ve heard that Dad & big brother are both pretty thrilled with him too. I really want to congratulate her for the commitment and determination she showed towards creating the empowering home birth that she wanted - M you are an inspiration!
Here he is on the inside (last month!), Mum was looking radiant!
Her belly button was so cute, it actually looked like a little fetus all curled up and poking out :p Thanks M for letting me take them, I can’t wait to meet your little man!
